About the Role of Viruses and Germs in Human Life: Report of Virologist Nadiya Zholobak at Biohacking Conference Kyiv 2020

Nadiya is a Ukrainian scientist, virologist, Candidate of Biological Sciences, and science communicator. She is an associate professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur of Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutic Technologies of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD). She works as a senior researcher at D.K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NASU.
The speaker is a co-author of the video interview series that highlighted the situation related to COVID-19. The content was broadcasted on ukrlife.tv Internet channel.
Nadiya is an author of many popular science articles dedicated to timely issues of virology, microbiology, epidemiology, biotechnology. Besides, she is an editor of the book Functional Bioenergetics and Mechanisms of Human Body Ageing, written by the doctor of biological sciences A.V. Panov-Tugarin.
The scientist was granted O.V. Palladin Award of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the series of papers “Molecular and biological peculiarities of interferonogenesis and development of science-based approaches to the use of interferon medications and their inductors in case of a pathological condition”.
